However, the sloping walls of the tipi can present challenges, particularly regarding sound distribution and rig height. I always make a note of these aspects to ensure that everyone enjoys the music without any issues.

Setup Considerations

Access to the venue is straightforward, but I always recommend ensuring that there is a clear pathway for my equipment. Power access is crucial as well; Welbeck Hall typically has sufficient outlets, but I like to confirm the specifics ahead of time. If there’s a generator or sound limiter in place, I’ll definitely want to discuss how that might impact the volume and overall experience.

Creating Your Playlist

When it comes to the music, I encourage couples to provide up to 25 must-play songs and 25 tracks that would be nice to include if time allows. This helps me understand the vibe you want for your evening. I also invite guest requests on the night, keeping the experience lively and engaging. While I tend to read the room to select music, it’s important to note that I don’t operate from an unlimited playlist.
