Sophie and Trystan at The Great Barn
Sophie and Trystan chose The Great Barn for a relaxed, happy evening, and Sophie and Trystan asked me to provide my Classic evening dj service with a Reclaimed Pallet Booth. Because they love singalong moments, they picked “Amazed” by Lonestar for their first dance, which set a warm tone from the start.
Setting the scene for Sophie and Trystan
I arrived for a 6:00 PM setup so everything felt settled before guests drifted in. Then, at 7:00 PM, the Classic Evening DJ set began, and the room eased into party mode. Soon after, cake cutting at 7:30 PM drew everyone together; it worked as a neat lead-in to the first dance.
Music moments with Sophie and Trystan
At 7:35 PM, I introduced them as Mr and Mrs Carter and played “Amazed”. You could feel the room lean in. Afterwards, we kept things light and fun, weaving their requests into the flow. Later, by their choice, the father–daughter dance to “I Loved Her First” happened quietly, with no announcement, which made it feel personal and unforced.
Closing the night with Sophie and Trystan
Evening food landed around 9:00 PM, so the energy dipped briefly and then bounced back. Because they wanted “good bangers people can dance to”, we kept a friendly mix rolling. Finally, at 11:55 PM, everyone gathered for “Angels” by Robbie Williams, which gave Sophie and Trystan a big, heartfelt finish before midnight.
