Sarah and Shaun’s Memorable Evening at The Old Cow Shed
Sarah and Shaun’s wedding at The Old Cow Shed was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the scenic Melton Mowbray countryside, this unique venue offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance for the happy couple’s big day. Setting the Scene
Arriving at The Old Cow Shed at 6:00 PM, I started setting up the DJ booth, complete with a stylish wooden pallet backdrop, giving a nod to the rustic theme of the venue. The anticipation built as guests began to arrive, greeted by the romantic decor and warm, inviting atmosphere.
A Sky Full of Stars: The first dance
As the clock struck 7:30 PM, it was time for the first dance. Sarah and Shaun took to the dance floor to the beautiful sounds of “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay, accompanied by a talented saxophone player. The combination of the melodic saxophone and the ethereal Coldplay tune set the tone for a night filled with heartfelt moments and energetic fun.
A Musical Journey
Throughout the evening, I curated a playlist that perfectly captured the couple’s tastes and the lively mood of their guests. From the sax player’s jazzy renditions to the upbeat DJ sets, the dance floor was always bustling. Hits like “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” and “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” had everyone, from the young to the young-at-heart, dancing and singing along.
Saxophone and DJ Magic
The sax player seamlessly integrated with my DJ sets, adding a dynamic layer to the music. Guests were thrilled by the live element, with the saxophone’s soulful notes weaving through popular tracks like “Infinity 2008” and “Higher Love”. It was a beautiful blend of live music and DJ magic that kept the energy high and the dance floor full.
A Night to Remember
As the evening drew to a close, the atmosphere was electric with happiness and celebration. The final dance, to the iconic “Champagne Supernova” by Oasis, was the perfect end to a perfect day. The guests gathered around Sarah and Shaun, swaying to the music and soaking in the joy of the moment.
