On a crisp evening at the stunning Pumping Station in Cropston, I had the absolute pleasure of DJing for Nicole and Javier (Mr and Mrs Manzano) as they celebrated their wedding day with friends and family. From the moment the music started, it was clear this was going to be a wedding party to remember.
Nicole and Javier opted for my Classic evening dj Package, complete with a White Star Cloth Booth that added a touch of elegance to the venue’s unique industrial charm. The couple’s music preferences were a perfect blend of indie rock, 80s rock, and party classics, creating a high-energy atmosphere that kept the dancefloor alive from the first beat to the last.
Their first dance was magical—a heartfelt moment as they swayed to Florence and the Machine’s You’ve Got the Love. It was a poignant choice that perfectly captured the joy and love of the occasion. As the night unfolded, the indie and 80s rock hits resonated with the crowd, bringing generations together on the dancefloor. Classics from The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, and The Rolling Stones were crowd favourites, while party anthems kept the energy soaring.
As the clock edged closer to midnight, Nicole and Javier gathered their guests for a final dance to Mr. Brightside by The Killers. The room erupted with everyone singing along, creating an unforgettable finale to an incredible evening.
