Lois & Lee celebrated their wedding at Ashton Lodge with a Classic evening dj service and a rustic Reclaimed Pallet Booth. The atmosphere felt personal and relaxed from the very start. Their evening was filled with the music they love and memories made with those closest to them.
The evening started with a sweet moment as they cut their cake to Bing Crosby’s True Love. Soon after, Lois & Lee shared their first dance to “You’re Still the One” by Teddy Swims. It was a touching scene. Their daughter joined partway through, and then guests filled the floor as “Get It Started” by the Black Eyed Peas kicked off the party.
Lois & Lee gave me a clear music brief. They wanted a mix of old school R&B, hip hop, trance, and TikTok favourites. Early in the evening, I played modern Beyoncé tracks for Lois. Lee’s love for Eminem came through later on, mixed with tracks like “Pick Up The Phone” by Nate Dogg and “Freed From Desire” by Gala. I avoided Bruno Mars as requested, keeping the music in line with their tastes.
After evening food, the energy built steadily. Each track was chosen to keep the dancefloor full and the vibe upbeat. The final song—“Dirty Bit” by the Black Eyed Peas—brought everyone together for a last big singalong before midnight.
