Lauren and Callum at Dodford Manor – our final wedding of 2025

Lauren and Callum welcomed their guests into a warm and lively atmosphere at Dodford Manor. As I arrived at 6pm to set up the Essential evening dj service and the reclaimed pallet booth, the room already felt charged with anticipation. Soon afterwards, evening guests began to fill the space, and the sense of building energy suited Lauren and Callum well. Because this was my final wedding of 2025, the night carried a natural sense of closure, yet it remained relaxed and focused on their plans.

At 7.10pm, the first dance for Lauren and Callum began. I played “O Children” by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and faded the track in at 4:10 as requested. Later in the night, a cultural highlight added something meaningful for Lauren and Callum. Once the dance floor looked full enough, I checked with one of them so they could bring the bride’s father forward. This made it easy to introduce the Albanian song “Një Komb Një Flamur” by Petrit Lulo & Fahrije Zogaj. As soon as the track started, the atmosphere shifted again, and the traditional circle dance formed naturally. Because this moment mattered to several generations of the family, it created a shared connection across the room.

Consequently, the flow stayed steady and comfortable for Lauren and Callum, and the crowd followed each transition with ease.
