Laura and George at Meadow Barns

George and Laura celebrated their wedding at The Meadow Barn in Stratford-upon-Avon, where I provided my Premier DJ service. Music ran from 8:00 PM to midnight, with no extras added – just a full evening of dancing and fun.

George and Laura’s Evening Begins

Laura’s uncle handled the first hour using his own laptop, giving the night a personal and heartfelt start. I arrived at 7:00 PM to set up and took over from 9:00 PM onwards. This allowed a smooth handover and gave me time to get everything ready without rushing.

A Packed Dancefloor

Once the main set began, the dancefloor filled quickly. George and Laura’s music choices gave the evening real variety. Songs like “Bonkers”, “Valerie”, and “Don’t Stop The Party” brought strong energy. Later, we moved into Afrobeat and Caribbean-inspired favourites, including “Azonto” and “Iko Iko”, which worked brilliantly with the crowd.

Singalong moments came from classics such as “Sweet Caroline” and “We Are Family”. Guests stayed on the floor through the final hour, helped by requests like “Temperature” and “Dance The Night Away”. The atmosphere stayed joyful right up to the last track.

Simple Setup, Strong Impact

This Premier DJ package was delivered with no added extras, proving that thoughtful planning and a lively playlist can carry an evening. George and Laura’s reception had heart, laughter, and a room full of people dancing from start to finish.

If you’re considering a similar setup, take a look at my Previous Weddings for more examples. And if you’d like a feel for the kind of vibe we had, watch “Temperature” by Sean Paul on YouTube VEVO.
