All Day Wedding DJ at Marriott Hotel Northampton for Kerri and Steven

From Morning Setup to Midnight Finale

Kerri and Steven’s wedding at the Marriott Hotel Northampton was a fantastic celebration from start to finish. I was honoured to provide my all day dj service, supporting them through every key moment.

Setup began at 11:00 AM. From then until midnight, I was responsible for music and announcements across the entire day. This included the wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and of course, the evening reception.

Ceremony Soundtrack and Microphone Support

The ceremony music was carefully chosen and timed. Kerri made her entrance to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. During the signing, guests heard “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder. Finally, the happy couple exited to “Flying Without Wings” by Westlife.

I also provided the PA system for these moments and made sure that every word was heard clearly. Wireless microphones were available for the speeches during the wedding breakfast. These allowed everyone to enjoy each toast and thank-you without difficulty.

Hosting and a Touch of Fun

To add some fun during the afternoon, I hosted a light-hearted “Mr & Mrs” game. This was a great ice-breaker and had guests laughing together before the evening reception began.

Background music played throughout the meal, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Every track was chosen to suit the tone of the day and the style of the couple.

Evening Reception and first dance

The evening party began with the cake cutting. The couple chose “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE for this moment. Then came their first dance as “Mr & Mrs Rodney” to Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On”.

This was followed by a parents’ dance to “Nothing’s Going to Change My Love for You” by Westlife. The rest of the wedding party then joined the couple for Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’”, which kept the energy going.

Dancing and a Packed Playlist

One of the highlights of the evening was a high-energy dance moment to “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada. This section really brought everyone together on the dancefloor, with a surge of excitement and movement.

The playlist was packed with fun, upbeat tracks including “Oops!…I Did It Again”, “YMCA”, and “Teenage Dirtbag”. There was something for everyone — from 90s pop to dancefloor classics. The final song of the night, “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life”, closed the day perfectly.

Fairground Style Letters and Finishing Touches

In addition to the DJ service, I also provided 4ft Fairground Style Mr & Mrs letters. These looked great in the room and were popular in guest photos throughout the day.
