Holly and James’s Wedding at The Woodlands
It was a real pleasure to be part of Holly and James’s wedding celebrations at The Woodlands. Surrounded by woodland charm and relaxed springtime vibes, they chose the Classic evening dj service to soundtrack their special evening.
The setup began at 6:00 PM, with music starting from 7:00 PM and continuing through until midnight. There were no extras added for this booking – just a focus on great music and good energy, with a playlist that brought together some brilliant crowd favourites and personal touches from the couple.
The first dance took place at 8:00 PM, with everyone invited to join Holly and James on the dancefloor to “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane. This simple gesture created a warm and welcoming start to the evening, setting the tone for a night filled with dancing and celebration.
Their must-play list featured indie and pop-rock favourites like Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, and Pulp, alongside classic anthems from Fleetwood Mac, Whitney Houston, and Elton John. There was a solid mix of upbeat floor-fillers and singalong moments, all carefully blended to suit the mood of the room throughout the evening.
As the night drew to a close just before midnight, the atmosphere stayed lively right to the final track – a great ending to a day full of laughter, connection, and shared memories.
