Ellie and Ethan’s Magical Night at Hothorpe Hall and The Woodlands
Ellie and Ethan’s wedding at Hothorpe Hall and The Woodlands was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by the venue’s natural beauty and serene ambience, the couple celebrated their love in an unforgettable way. As their Classic evening dj, it was my pleasure to provide the perfect soundtrack to their special day, complete with a reclaimed pallet booth that added a rustic charm to the event.
A Night to Remember
The evening kicked off with my arrival at 6 PM to set up the reclaimed pallet booth, which blended seamlessly with the enchanting surroundings of Hothorpe Hall and The Woodlands. By 7 PM, the dance floor was ready, and the music began to fill the air, setting the mood for an evening of celebration and joy.
Ellie and Ethan’s first dance
One of the highlights of the evening was Ellie and Ethan’s first dance as a married couple. They chose Jonah Baker’s acoustic rendition of “You’re Still the One,” a beautiful and heartfelt song that perfectly captured their deep connection. As they danced, the room was filled with love and admiration from their family and friends. It was a touching moment that will be cherished by everyone who witnessed it.
Cake Cutting and Evening BBQ
At 8 PM, the couple cut their wedding cake to the techno remix of “Stargazing” by Myles Smith, adding a modern and lively twist to the tradition. Guests were then treated to a delightful evening BBQ, located in the outdoor kitchen next to the tipi. The combination of good food and great music created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
Dancing the Night Away
The dance floor was alive with energy as the night progressed, with a diverse playlist that catered to all tastes. From ABBA’s “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” to “Temperature” by Sean Paul, the music selection kept everyone on their feet. The crowd loved every minute of it, with classic hits and modern favourites blending together to create a memorable soundtrack for the evening.
The Perfect Ending
As the night drew to a close, the couple chose Jonah Baker and Celine’s acoustic mashup of “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “Shut Up and Dance” for their last dance. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day, with Ellie and Ethan surrounded by their loved ones, dancing and celebrating their love.
