Classic evening dj for Courtney and Kyle at Pendrell Hall
A Brilliant Celebration at a Beautiful Venue
Courtney and Kyle chose the elegant Pendrell Hall in Staffordshire for their wedding celebration. I had the pleasure of providing my Classic Evening DJ service to support their big day. With no extras requested, the focus was on great music, smooth timing, and a personal touch.
first dance and Special Moments
The evening began at 7:00 PM, with guests settling in and enjoying the build-up. At 8:00 PM, Courtney and Kyle cut their cake to Pour Some Sugar On Me, which added a fun twist to the tradition.
Soon after, they shared their first dance to Still into You by Isabella Kensington. This unique version created a lovely atmosphere as friends and family looked on. It felt genuinely heartfelt and set the tone for the rest of the night.
Next came a touching father–daughter dance. Courtney and her dad danced to Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart. It was a gentle and memorable moment before the dancefloor fully opened up.
Music That Reflected Their Style
The playlist was a perfect mix of their favourites. Songs like Dancing Queen and Dragula showed their wide-ranging music taste. I also made sure to respect their ‘do not play’ list, which included Sweet Caroline and Come On Eileen.
Later in the evening, the crowd was treated to a pizza buffet at 9:00 PM. This helped keep the energy up and gave guests a chance to recharge before returning to the dancefloor.
A Big Finish to a Big Day
As the night drew to a close, I announced the bar’s last orders at 11:30 PM. Just before midnight, everyone joined together for the final track of the night – Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. It was a huge singalong moment and the perfect way to wrap up the celebration.
Thank you, Courtney and Kyle, for having me as part of your day. It was a pleasure to support you at such a stunning venue.
