DJ Wedding Disco were delighted to be involved in arranging the entertainment for the celebration of the marriage of Claire and Stuart at Wadenhoe House.
We were approached by the happy couple to help provide the perfect evening’s entertainment to round off their wedding day.

As well as one of our talented and experienced Wedding DJs, we also provided a solo guitarist to play an acoustic set of some modern Indie classics from the likes of Kings of Leon, Oasis, Libertines and similar artists.
He even played some of his own interpretations of songs made famous by The Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears … all of which went down really well with the young crowd.
Evening Reception
Due to the earlier success of the guitar solos, the Bride and Groom requested that he play their first dance live – Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars”. It was a very moving few minutes – quite unlike anything we’ve seen in a long time!
Then it was on with the disco. The wedding couple were keen to hear plenty of Student Union anthems including hits by Chesney Hawkes, Girls Aloud and the B52’s, all of which were very well received by the age groups present.
The requests kept coming thick and fast all night long, with a packed dancefloor right to the finish. Then we surprised them with our favourite unplayed request of the night as a surprise encore – Rednex’s “Cotton-Eye Joe”! A fantastic finish to a very energetic party!
