Claire and Rob – Classic evening dj at Moxhull Hall

Claire and Rob chose my Classic Evening DJ service for their wedding reception at Moxhull Hall. By keeping things simple and skipping extras, they gave full attention to the music and the atmosphere it created. From start to finish, the evening reflected their choices and style.

Evening Builds Naturally

I arrived at 6:00 PM to set up and started background music at 7:00 PM. While Claire and Rob hadn’t confirmed a first dance track, the flow remained smooth. Their guests eased into the night with relaxed requests and plenty of dancing early on.

At 8:30 PM, the cake cutting gave the evening a natural pause. Shortly after, evening food was served at 9:00 PM. These breaks helped pace the evening well. Because Claire and Rob had prepared a detailed request list, tracks like ‘Destination’ by DT8 and ‘Wanna Be’ by Alex Morph shaped the early energy.

Later in the evening, the music shifted into higher gear. The guests responded well to upbeat selections from their must-play list and guest suggestions. Requests ranged from Kylie Minogue to Coldplay, with dance classics like ‘Safe’ (Joris Voorn Remix) closing the night at 11:55 PM.

The lights came up at midnight, but the atmosphere lingered. Claire and Rob had created a music-led evening that flowed naturally from start to end.
