How we did it..
first dance, the bit in the Middle, the Last Dance and ‘One More’
Chris and Rachel chose Rod Stewarts version of ‘Have you ever felt the rain’ as their first dance, given the warm evening and the fact the beautiful couple were not ones for the spotlight this was delayed a couple of times throughout the evening. Eventually the bride and groom gave in to crowd demand allowing us to organise and introduce the first dance.
With no prior requests or strict guidance we didn’t really know what to expect from the guests but boy were they party animals! One lady even demonstrated a first class worm across the dance floor!
80’s and 90’s classics (including party dances such as the macarana) ruled the dance floor following the current trend that seems Wedding Dance Floors are turning their ‘collective backs’ on modern chart music.
For the last dances of the evening we selected what we considered to be fitting tributes to the guests; I had the time of my life and Never Forget!
At the end of the evening Chris and Rachel came to thank me, the pleasure was all mine!
