Amelia & Thomas celebrated their wedding at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire. The evening felt warm, well-paced, and beautifully organised from the start.
Amelia & Thomas: first dance and special effects
Setup began at 6:30 pm, ready for music at 7:30 pm. Soon after the cake cutting, Amelia & Thomas stepped onto the floor for their first dance, “Footprints In The Sand” by Leona Lewis. A smooth layer of low fog spread across the floor and stayed throughout the song. It created that dreamlike “Dancing on Clouds” look that filled the room with quiet awe. Then, exactly at two minutes and forty-six seconds, indoor cold sparks lifted into the air, perfectly timed with the song’s chorus. Guests gasped, clapped, and smiled — it was a powerful yet understated moment that marked the tone for the night.
Amelia & Thomas: The flow of the evening
The White LED DJ Booth suited the clean, elegant setting of the venue. Behind the scenes, a technician handled each cue, keeping the timing precise. After the first dance, Amelia shared a song with her nan to “Crème Puff” by Johnny Nash. Thomas then danced with his mum to “You Raise Me Up” by Westlife. These smaller moments gave the evening a sense of warmth and connection. Later, the dance floor filled quickly, and the atmosphere stayed lively right through to 12:30 am. Everything ran smoothly because of careful planning and a relaxed approach.
