The equipment may help create the atmosphere, but it is the music that people remember.

Your wedding soundtrack should represent you as a couple while still giving your guests plenty of reasons to join you on the dancefloor. That means combining the songs you genuinely love with the experience to recognise what is working in the room and respond accordingly.

I am not there to press play on a pre-written playlist or work through hundreds of requests regardless of the reaction. I am there to DJ: reading the dancefloor, choosing the right track at the right moment and connecting different generations and musical tastes throughout the evening.

Music That Sounds Like You

There is no standard DJ Wedding Disco playlist.

Your celebration might move from soul, Motown and disco into 1990s dance classics, Kisstory, UK garage and modern house. It could include indie anthems, pop-punk, rock, R&B, hip-hop, drum and bass, afrobeats, country or current chart music.

Most weddings naturally include a mixture of styles. The skill is not simply owning the songs; it is knowing how to bring them together so the evening feels like one coherent party rather than a collection of unrelated requests.

You Provide the Direction

Before your wedding, you will be invited to submit:

Up to 25 must-play songs
The tracks that matter most and should form part of your celebration.

Up to 25 play-if-possible songs
Additional ideas that can be included where they suit the atmosphere and direction of the evening.

Up to three do-not-play choices
Songs or artists you would prefer not to hear.

This gives me a clear understanding of your tastes without restricting the ability to react to your guests. Your selections provide the direction; professional DJing brings everything together on the night.

Requests on the Night

Guest requests are welcome, but they remain requests rather than instructions.

Every suggestion is considered against your preferences, the do-not-play list, the remaining time and what is currently happening on the dancefloor. A request may be a brilliant addition, unsuitable for your wedding or simply wrong for that particular moment.

The priority will always be the overall party rather than one individual guest’s personal playlist.
